Yamaha Nepal successfully organized it’s Regional Sales Skills Contest in Itahari on 1st January 2025. The event brought together 11 top-performing sales consultants from Yamaha dealerships across Mechi and Koshi, celebrating excellence in sales expertise and product knowledge.
To qualify for the contest, participants had to complete rigorous Auto Basic, Product, Competition and Process Training, followed by a competitive test evaluating their proficiency in these areas. The highest-scoring sales consultant from each dealership earned a spot in this prestigious contest, ensuring that only the most skilled representatives took part.
The competition concluded with the announcement of the top three performers. Chudamani Acharya from B and B Auto Traders, Biratchowk, was declared the winner, followed by Kritika Ghimire from Jenisha Automobiles Traders, Phattepur, as the first runner-up. Mira Sapkota from Pathibhara Auto Palace, Illam, secured the position of second runner-up.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from Yamaha dealerships in Kathmandu. Contestants demonstrated their knowledge and skills, striving for the top honours. The winner, 1st runner-up and 2nd Runner-up proceeded to represent Mechi and Koshi on a National stage to compete in the National Sales Skills Contest.
Mr. Robin Shrestha, RSM of Yamaha Nepal (Province 1 & 2) graced the occasion, presenting trophies and certificates to the winner, first runner-up, and second runner-up. In his congratulatory remarks, he commended the participants for their dedication and hard work, stating, "At Yamaha, we believe in empowering our team members with the skills and knowledge they need to excel. This contest not only celebrates their expertise but also fosters a culture of continuous learning and excellence".
As a token of appreciation, all participants received Certificates of Participation, recognizing their efforts and commitment to the brand’s values. This contest marks the beginning of Yamaha’s regional sales contests, with similar events planned for remaining regions soon. Through initiatives like these, Yamaha Nepal continues to uplift the standards of customer service, ensuring its sales consultants deliver a premium experience that aligns with Yamaha’s Global reputation for excellence.
